The college season season started weeks ago. Jen Parro at SNU and Kellen Millard at UNH have have already had 4 and 9 games respectively. In February Ipswich High School and Middle School players participated in six clinics led by some fantastic coaches, Lukas Cash, Leslie Frank, Lisa Clark, Ebony Preston and Bethany M (last name is too hard to spell). This was my first chance to participate in the US Lacrosse National Convention, an event held annually, and this year being the first of several in Baltimore. In previous years Philadelphia was the host city and I am told a great venue.

President Elect Barrack Obama gave a pre-inaugural speech in the city of Baltimore as part of a day-long rally that ended in our nation's capital. The message was inspirational. I know this because there were a hundred people at the US Lacrosse National Convention in Baltimore today that stopped what they were doing to listen to the speech, me being one.
